Friends!! We just went on a lovely little hike with some family friends and the sun was shining down on me from what seemed like heaven. It’s been so long since we’ve been able to get out and enjoy days like this and I can’t seem to shake the happiness of good ol’ Vitamin D. I really hope the Spring weather is starting to show up in your corner of the world and if not I hope you catch all the sunny vibes right here in this post!
Speaking of sunny vibes, if you follow my adventures on Instagram then you already know how much I LOVE waffles! I love waffles so much that I actually started doing “Waffle Wednesday” each week. I’ll catch you up here if you’re not in the social media loop, because everyone deserves to have waffles in their life!
Reasons Why
You may be asking yourself, “What is Waffle Wednesday and why does it exist?” The short answer is that one Wednesday I shared a photo of our boy eating yummy gluten free waffles and I just really started digging the good vibes! I also have polls of silly questions pertaining to waffles in my stories that I love because we all get to know each other a little better and have a laugh. It’s a good time! Our first waffle maker was gifted to us as a wedding gift. It was the kitchen appliance I was most excited to register for (but I’m sure that’s no surprise haha!). The Cuisinart Belgian Waffle Maker is a godsend! And would you believe it is still working like a champ after 8 years of marriage, sing praise I tell you! If you want traditional, and large crispy on the outside but tender in the center waffles, perfect for holding copious amounts of warm syrup and toppings then this is the waffle maker for you!!

Next up, is our glorious Mickey Waffle! This was also gifted to us for my daughter’s third birthday. Anndd, I just realized how obvious it must be that I love waffles if I’m being gifted so many waffle makers..! I say it all the time, but there really is nothing a Mickey waffle can’t turn around. Epic toddler meltdowns… tamed! Just got a parking ticket… instant mood lift! Wake up feeling grouchy… you’re just one Mickey waffle away from feeling like a million bucks! Also, the verdict is in- it’s fun to eat Mickey ears! If you are looking for an easy and fun breakfast for yourself or for your kiddos, this one is an absolute must!
*Side note: this waffle maker does not have a timer but I’ve found waffles are perfect at 2 1/2 minutes cook time.
Dreaming of Waffles

As major Star Wars fans, of course we have a Millennium Falcon waffle maker! I suppose it isn’t a surprise that this was also gifted to us! The waffle life really chose my you guys..!
These waffles are fairly large and cook up in about 3 to 4 mins. Here is ours that we love!
In my current waffle dreams I’m thinking up some brunch and party fun with waffle sticks or waffle kabobs. Which is why a tiny waffle maker of multiples is perfect! *Hint: you may be seeing some fun waffle kabob action soon… Cook ’em up, add a skewer, some berries, and YUM! Here is the maker I’m eyeing…
