My Skincare Routine with Beauty Counter

Hi beauties! This post has been a long time coming for me. And if I am being honest, I never thought I would see the day that I would be sharing my skincare routine with anyone because my skin has NEVER looked and felt this healthy. “This is not a drill, you are literally doing this right now” is all my brain keeps telling itself 😂!

I feel like there is SO much to share but I am going to do my best to keep it simple. 🤞 If you want to skip ahead to my routine, go ahead! I am also providing a little background into my decision to try Beauty Counter and how I am ultimately now working with them to revolutionize the beauty and skin care industry with safer and cleaner products!

Skin Story

A few days ago I opened up about my deeply painful skin story. If you missed that, you can catch it here on my insta stories. My history of skin issues including cystic acne, deep tissue scarring, redness, dehydration, dullness, and more had left me desperate for the help that my skin needed but sadly would never get. I felt betrayed by my skin and more than that I felt like a guinea pig, constantly being prescribed medications with TOXIC ingredients (in which I didn’t know at the time).

Into my Own Hands

I quite literally PRAYED to God to fix my skin. And although I had no idea which way to go, I felt the nudge to try holistic healing methods such as changing my diet, getting facials more frequently, and really examining what I was putting on my skin. I said NO MORE to the terribly damaging (and toxic) chemicals that were being used to quote “treat” my skin. *Later, I would come to find out, they were the cause of my issues altogether!

If you are wondering some of the medications I was prescribed I am going to save that for another post, as it’s a really big topic and feel it deserves it’s own post!

My Skin Care Routine

Here is my entire skin care routine that has not only transformed my skin but also my life in ways that I am still figuring out! I will leave my consultant links highlighted under each photo for easy shopping.

The Dream Team

Here is the travel set I purchased from Beauty Counter’s “Countermatch” line. Please note: this set has recently been rebranded and can now be found in a white and gold package and not the blue you see here.

I love this set! It includes a cleanser, serum, day cream, and a night cream. I also purchased an eye cream, a trio of oils, and a weekly peel! I created a video for how I use these on my Instagram stories so head there if you want to see my morning routine in action.

I received this trio of oils as a promotional gift, but find myself using one over all of them! I also NEVER thought I would be using oil on my face, so I am ready to dish on why they are SO GOOD for your skin.
