If 2020 has been one thing for me, it’s reminding myself to trust my “design gut instinct”. I’ve always loved the black and white contrast of Joanna Gaines’ home but I don’t have a farmhouse or a pretty staircase to work with… I’ve got $3 sample paint instead! Once the diy dash accent wall was painted I wanted some rattan goodness and I knew this rattan wall hook was a winner. The stool is from Hobby Lobby but I found a similar one below. Now our entry way is cozy and stylish and I’m glad I took that leap pf faith and followed by “design gut instinct” with this small entryway.
