Pinterest has done it again… Inspired me and given me confidence to test out some of their cutest and “easiest” Halloween cupcake toppers. Here are some photos of each project but be sure to check my new YOUTUBE CHANNEL for the full video of how everything went down!!

Hold Up: Side Note

That’s right friends, this is my first blog post announcing my new YouTube Channel! It is a true joy and honor to share fun with you using pretty photos and words. The channel is going to be an extension of my projects that I’ve been sharing with you from the very beginning. I want everyone to be able to recreate what they see here in their homes and I feel sharing in video form will help to do that. You can now subscribe to the channel right here!

This blog post features each project with two photos. The first photo will show you supplies needed and the second will showcase the finished product with my tips on how to NAIL these cupcake toppers for your own Halloween celebration. Let’s get to it!

#1 Witches Hats

Oreo Thins, Hershey’s Kisses, and dark cookie icing

Nail or Fail?

This one turned out so cute! I say Nail for sure.

#2 Vampire Donut Toppers

The Vampires looked so adorable for about a minute until they fell apart, ugh! TIP: I think gluing the mouth piece together would definitely do the trick at keeping the donut together. We may try this one again!

Donuts, fangs, candy eyes, and candy melts needed.

#3 Mummy Cupcakes

I love this one! So kid friendly and it actually turned out which is important…

Candy eyes and cookie icing. That’s it!

#4 Spider Webs

For not having much patience, this topper didn’t turn out too bad! TIP: Use an outline of a web and this one is picture perfect! I also love how it can be placed on top of a frosted cupcake to make entertaining a breeze.

Cookie icing and plastic spiders (these are rings from Target)
A small part broke off so be sure to be gentle and pipe the we on the thicker side.

#5 Strawberry “Ghosts”

This was possibly the worst fail because I learned that chocolate chips in fact do not have that ghoulish eye look! TIP: To remake this I would use black piping gel… This version just looks like Friday the 13th which is NOT the vibe I was hoping for 🤦‍♀️

Runnnn!
